08:00 AM. Glennwood Burglary - Suspect Runs - Dothan Footchase Apprehends Him

DOTHAN: Dothan 911 dispatched police to Glennwood Drive to a possible burglary.
When Dothan Police arrived the suspect fled on foot from the backyard of the residence.
Dothan Police Officers literally chased the suspect down after going over fences and apprehended the suspect.
Evidence was recovered by the officer.
It was funny listening to the foot chase. At about the time the officers called “ K-9 Deployment “, which meant the suspect was about to get bitten, the officers apprehended the suspect.
Dothan Fire did have to respond, non emergency, where the suspect received a minor injury from jumping fences. But he was seconds away from a dog bite.
Multiple Dothan Police units were on the scene on Southland Drive where the suspect was apprehended and on Glenwood where the residence was located.
