DOTHAN - HOUSTON COUNTY: 09:10 AM Dothan-Houston County Emergency Management Director Chris Judah is in constant contact with National Weather Service for updated information.
EMA Director Judah reports this morning;
A cold front is expected to approach the region from the west on Sunday afternoon and will bring a slight chance for an isolated strong to severe storm. The main threat would be damaging winds; tornadoes are not expected. The SPC has placed mainly southeast Alabama and southwest Georgia in a Marginal Risk, though even their threat assessment has been becoming less and less over the past couple of nights.
This should not effect church services or events going on in the County area.
