LUCY: 11:00 AM. Houston County Sheriff 911 dispatched Lucy UNPAID PROFESSIONAL FIRE DEPARTMENT to a outdoor fire on County Road 4.
On the arrival of Lucy the Fire was totally out of control and 5 houses were in danger. Fire was on the back of one residence.
Mutual aid assistance was called. Responding to assist, Gordon UNPAID PROFESSIONAL FIRE, Cottonwood UNPAID PROFESSIONAL FIRE, Hodgesville UPAID PROFESSIONAL FIRE, Cottonwood Rescue, Malone Florida Fire, and Alabama Forrestry And Dothan - Houston County Emergency Management.
A barn was lost with a car and riding lawnmowers.
Cottonwood Rescue transported one patient being a resident with smoke inhalation.
