DOTHAN:   11:01 PM    Dothan Police and Houston County Sheriff Deputies responded to a strong armed robbery at American Inn on East Main Street.


Houston County Sheriff Deputy McKinney spotted suspect in the wood line behind the trailer park east of American Inn. The suspect appeared to run back towards the trailer park. When Deputy McKinney hit the suspect with a flashlight beam the suspect turned and ran back to the trailer park.


Deputies were unable to locate the suspect.


Dothan Police updated the call from a Strong Armed Robbery to a theft after investigation.
