11:14 PM. Burglary In Progress Fieldcrest Apartments

DOTHAN: 11:14 PM. Dothan 911 just sounded the emergency alert tone - burglary in progress Fieldcrest Apartments. A unknown subject inside the apartment. The person living there was locked inside bedroom and armed.
In less than one minute one officer was on the scene and two minutes later two more officers are on the scene.
Shortly after arrival the on scene units cancelled the emergency traffic and had the 911 Center tell the person locked in the bedroom they could step out.
Unknown circumstances but apparently not a burglary.
NOTE: When in doubt never hesitate to protect yourself and call 911.
