11:28 PM. Sheriff Department Chases Motorcycle

HOUSTON COUNTY: At about 9:30 PM a unmarked Sheriff Deputy spotted a motorcycle driving on Prevatt Road at a high rate of speed with no lights.
The deputy followed but did not "light him up" ( turn blue lights on ) at the time. The subject went onto East Saunders Road. He crossed Third Avenue busting through the stop sign. After that intersection the deputy then turned on his blue lights. The motorcycle slowed almost to a stop then all of a sudden took off.
The deputy gave chase. The motorcycle traveled to Blackman Road and then turned into a driveway and back through the woods. The motorcycle came into the back of Run-A-Way RV towards Cherry Blossom RV Park. He then ran into where the woods and the two fences intersected.
The subject dropped the motorcycle and fled on foot.
Later the Houston County Sheriff Department stopped a vehicle believed to be coming to get the motorcycle rider.
The motorcycle was impounded and Houston County Sheriff Deputies continue to investigate.
