11:48 AM... Log Truck Overturned on Hwy 95 in Gordon

HOUSTON COUNTY: Gordon Fire and Ashford Rescue responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash on Hwy 95 South between Barksdale and Jerusalem. First reports were the driver was trapped in the overturned semi. Ashford Fire responded for extrication. Dothan Fire Engine 4 responded to meet Ashford Rescue.
The driver was transported by ambulance to the hospital. Houston County Sheriff’s Office, Gordon Police Chief Mock and Houston County Emergency Management also responded. The area where the crash occurred is closed until it can be cleaned up. The cause of the crash is under investigation by the Alabama State Troopers.
