11:55 PM. Dothan Police Apprehend and In Foot Chase Of Auto Burglary Suspects

DOTHAN:    11:55 PM.   Dothan Police on patrol spotted, chased, apprehended and still searching for auto burglary suspects.


Dothan Officer spotted several subjects, dressed in black with a gray shirt tied around their face, wearing gloves,, breaking into cars.. 


Dothan Police Patrol surrounded the area quickly. Several suspects were apprehended. Dothan is in a foot search on Englewood/Westmoreland Drive area. Some back packs were found along the way and at the rear of the school.


Multiple Dothan Police units are on foot in the area around Bracewell Avenue, Haisten, Englewood, Westmoreland and other streets in the area.


Use caution as you exit your residence over the next few minutes. Dothan K-9 ( on a leash with a officer ) are on tracks. Also check your vehicles and if anything is suspicious call Dothan Police, 334-793-0215.


CONGRATULATIONS to the alert and proactive Dothan Police Patrol units.


Houston County Sheriff Deputies are assisting Dothan Police in handling other calls while the majority of Patrol Division is tied up on the search for additional suspects.


Dothan Criminal Investigators and Crime Scene Investigators have been called to the scene.


Dothan 911 staff has done an outstanding job in the management of the communications and foot searches.
