DOTHAN: 12:18 AM. Dothan Police just took person into custody at gunpoint behind Flying J Truck Stop near Hodgesville Road. The suspect had a K-9 in the cab with him.
For at least the last hour Dothan 911 Staff and Dothan Police have been searching for a Penske Truck. Dothan Police have flanked Dothan and multiple roads for the Penske Truck.
As we understand a female was locked in the rear of the Penske Truck. Again, UNCONFIRMED, as we understand the female had possibly been assaulted.
As Dothan Police ran roads in and out of Dothan a Dothan Police Patrol Officer spotted the Penske Truck backed in the rear of Flying J near Hodgesville Road. Multiple units responded to assist the officer.
After taking the male driver at gun point by 12:22 AM Dothan Police Patrol Lt. Jeremy Collins reported subject in custody and female removed from the rear of the truck.
At 12:28AM Dothan Fire Engine 4 was on the scene for patient check. Dothan Police Patrol Lt. Collins called for Dothan Fire, non emergency, in reference to patient check.
UNCONFIRMED the female made contact with someone via social media who in turn called Dothan 911.
Folks...your Dothan 911, Dothan Police and Houston County Sheriff Deputies hit the road running on this call. Listening to the searches, the combined efforts, the hard diligence search not only from the law enforcement officers on the street but from the 911 Staff. They have been conducting multiple searches and providing detailed information to the officers on the street.
Just to,put it plain, ALL HAVE BUSTED THEIR ... LOCATING VICTIM AND SUSPECT.
