DOTHAN: At 11:51 PM Dothan 911 dispatched Dothan Police - Dothan Fire -Pilcher Ambulance to 1000 block of North Bell Avenue to a firearm assault.
The victim was found near Dollar General at North Bell and Montgomery Highway. The victim first appeared at neighbors house stating that he had been shot.
Dothan Police surronded 1003 North Bell and through officers and K-9 Officers it was determined the crime scene was at 1003 North Bell Street.
The victim was transported by ambulance to a local hospital. The victim was shot in the hand.
Dothan Police Criminal Investigator and Crime Scene Investigator were called to the scene to investigate.
