COLUMBIA:    12:34 PM.   Columbia Police Chief Killingsworth, Houston County Sheriff Deputies Nowell and Rice, Houston County Sheriff Investigators Herring and Floyd were all on the scene in Columbia this morning where vandals struck.

Vandals struck the Main Street in Columbia using BB guns to shoot up buildings busting glass and damage the Christmas decorations in the park in downtown Columbia.

THe BB guns were found. They are being analyzed for DNA samples.

While some suspects have been identified more information is being sought. Call 334-677-4808 and leave message for Sgt. Ricky Herring, Investigator Samantha Floyd or Columbia Police Chief Phillip Killingsworth to call you.

This was a deliberate act of vandalism. And guess what suspects? It is in YOUR long term best interest to go ahead and call 334-677-4808 for one of those named to call you. Because the investigators know far more then I am disclosing. And it is in your best interest for you to call then you look over your shoulder wondering...will I be home for Christmas??? Because when they come a knockin’ You might not be home for Christmas!!!
