1:40 PM... Multi Vehicle Accident on US 231 just North of Hwy 109

HOUSTON COUNTY: Rehobeth Fire, Hodgesville Fire and Pilcher’s Ambulance responded to a report of a multi vehicle crash on US 231 just North of Hwy 109. One person was transported by ambulance to the hospital.
Houston County Sheriff’s Office also responded. Traffic is backed up for a mile in the area. The area where the crash occurred is closed until it can be cleaned up. The cause of the crash is under investigation by the Alabama State Troopers.
