14th Annual Ft. Rucker Job Fair to be Held in Enterprise

ENTERPRISE - The Alabama Career Center System, in partnership with WDFX Fox 34 News will host a the 14th Annual Ft. Rucker Job Fair on Thursday, July 27, 2017 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the gymnasium at Enterprise High School. The job fair is free and open to the public.


More than 130 employers are scheduled to attend, including: Aecom, Aeroteams, Arista Aviation, BAE Systems, CAE, CVS, and more. (Full listing of employers can be found at www.labor.alabama.gov/jobfair, with more being added daily.) More than 3,000 available jobs are represented.


The job fair is free and open to the public.  Jobseekers are encouraged to pre-register online at www.labor.alabama.gov/jobfair. Pre-registering will allow for faster entry, and participants are strongly encouraged to print their confirmation and bring it with them to the job fair or to save their confirmation e-mail on their phones. Jobseekers may also register on-site.


Veterans will be given priority assistance and those with military backgrounds are strongly encouraged to register and attend.


Employers who wish to register for the job fair can also visit www.labor.alabama.gov/jobfair or contact the Enterprise Career Center at (334) 347-0044.  There is no charge for employers to participate.


“We are proud to help carry on the tradition of this long-standing job fair in the Ft. Rucker area,” said Alabama Department of Labor Secretary Fitzgerald Washington.  “We have recruited a variety of employers to participate in the job fair and all of them have available jobs to fill – it’s one of our requirements to participate. There are opportunities in so many career fields. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking for a job or looking for a change in career.”

Applicants should come to the job fair with multiple copies of their résumés. They should be prepared to interview and should be dressed professionally.


 


The Alabama Career Center System’s mobile career center along with staff from the area career centers will be onsite at the job fair to assist jobseekers in applying for jobs.
