HOUSTON COUNTY:     Houston County Sheriff Donald Valenza, Houston County Commissioner Doug Sinquefield and Dothan - Houston County Emergency Management Director Chris Judah are on the scene of weather damage on Harden Road.


Harden Road runs off Highway 231 South directly across from Center Stage.


A single wide mobile home in Harden’s Mobile Home Park was overturned. It was occupied at the time. The two residents made it out of the debris with scraps. Rehobeth Rescue treated the residents but they were not transported To a hospital.


Several Mobile homes were moved off the blocks and received damage.


Multiple Houston County Sheriff Deputies flocked the area within minutes of the call. Rehobeth Rescue, Pilcher Ambulance were on the scene. Cottonwood Rescue responded, not as a primary or backup to the primary, but to offer assistance until the scene was surveyed.


Rehobeth UNPAID PROFESSIONAL FIRE CHIEF Todd Phillips was on the scene. Chief Phillips and EMA Director Judah worked to make sure all residents were accounted for.


Houston County Commissioner Jackie Battles was not in town at the time of the incident but called EMA Director Judah seeing if any resources were needed. Houston County Commission Chairman Mark Culver called EMA Director Chris Judah to see if any resources were needed, as did Commissioners Harvey and Shoupe. 


Red Cross has been called to the scene to assist the displaced residents with immediate needs.


Houston County WAS NOT under any tornado warnings or watches at the time of the event. It appears as straight line winds at this time.


EMA Director Chris Judah has been on the phone with National Weather Service constantly since before 6 AM this morning. Weather briefs have been distributed all morning.
