HOUSTON COUNTY: Houston County Sheriff's Deputies attempted to stop a vehicle in Rehobeth but the driver had other ideas. The driver has confirmed felony warrants with Houston County Sheriff's Office.


The pursuit went down several back county roads and deputies attempted to use the pit maneuver striking the vehicles several times to end the pursuit but the driver managed to recover each time. At one point the driver was running on 3 wheels and continued to driver at speeds up to 90 mph.


The driver got onto Hwy 109  heading South towards Florida. Deputies attempted another pit maneuver but the driver kept going into Florida. Major Rafferty and Sheriff Valenza instructed deputies to terminate the pursuit at the Florida line. The driver was last seen heading South into Graceville.


Deputies turned around and began to recover drugs that were being thrown from the car. The suspect is wanted for drug trafficking and several other warrants.
