MIDLAND CITY: 3:30 PM ALEA - State Trooper Leger was the first law enforcement officer on the scene of a single vehicle accident on Highway 231 North, just north of Troy DOTHAN in the city limits of Dothan.
Dothan Fire, Dothan Police, Dothan Fire Battalion Chief Pete Webb, Pilcher Ambulance responded and was on the scene. Dothan - Houston County Emergency Management was on the scene arriving just behind Trooper Leger because they happened to be traveling north when came up on the accident.
A SUV was southbound on Highway 231 and crossed into the median and overturned. A female was trapped in the vehicle but only because of difficulty with the door.
The car was stabilized and the person was removed from the vehicle.
Pilcher Ambulance transported the injured to a Dothan Hospital.
Midland City Police is in charge of the investigation.
