3:56 AM.. Structure Fire at 9135 Cottonwood Road

HOUSTON COUNTY: At 3:56 AM.... Multiple Fire units from Lovetown and Cottonwood responded to a report of a structure fire at 9135 Cottonwood Road. The first unit on scene advised fully involved and almost on the ground. Chief Dixon advised the house sat back off the road and to far to the hydrant.
The house appeared to be a single story home that was unoccupied. Chief Dixon requested Hodgesville Fire be dispatched for water and man power and this would be a defensive fire.
Houston County Sheriff’s Office responded along with an ambulance from Cottonwood Rescue. Dothan-Houston County EMA also responded to help where needed.
