Multiple emergency units from many directions rolled with haste in an effort to save a life.
When the first emergency unit arrived on the scene the house was fully engulfed. A firm answer could not be gotten if in fact the person was in the house.
As the fire was being fought law enforcement finally was able to locate the female who was in a trailer behind the house asleep on the couch. All were safe and secure and no one was injured.

Wiregrass Electric, an emergency first responder, also responded to cut the power in order to allow fireman to safely fight the fire. Also on the scene Rehobeth Rescue and Pilcher Ambulance.
The homeowner was not home at the time of the fire. The cause is unknown.
Water was an issue as there are no fire hydrants in the subdivison. The house on fire was in the back of the subdivision. Water had to be shuttled from Fortner Street to the scene.
Houston County Sheriff Donald Valenza said when the fire cooled Sheriff Investigators would work to determine the cause of the fire.
