DOTHAN: 4:16 PM. Dothan 911 dispatched Dothan Fire, Pilcher Ambulance and Dothan Police to a structure fire at 905 Post Oak Drive. Reports to 911 Center, smoke and flames visible.
The first engine on the scene immediately initiated fire attack and advised the second engine arriving to connect to a fire hydrant.
The residence is a single story family residence. All residents were evacuated.
Dothan Fire requested Dothan Utilities to respond and cut the power to the residence.
Call dispatched at 4:07 PM and by 4:18 PM all was reported under control. There was a propane gas tank but Dothan Fire got it cut off.
Quick response and action.
The Acting Batallions Cheif is Angus Scott that had command of the scene.
