DOTHAN:    5:09 PM    Dothan 911 has rolled Police - Fire - EMS to Ussery Homes to a firearm assault.


Dothan Fire Batallion Chief Keith Gassiter has instructed fire and EMS to stage until which time law enforcement declares the scene safe for EMS to enter.


Dothan Police are on the scene. They have a suspect vehicle. The vehicle is located at Vann's Package Store on Columbia Highway attempting to hide from law enforcement.


Officer's are in the area attempting to get information.

There were shots fired but no one was struck. The victim and the suspect got into an altercation and then shots were fired. The possible suspect vehicle has been located on Emmons Drive. The victim on Ussery Street was treated for a cut under the eye but was not taken to the hospital by ambulance. The investigation is still on going.
