LOVETOWN: 5:37 PM. Houston County Sheriff 911 dispatched Fire and Rescue to Gene Terry Road to reports of a structure fire.
Lovetown UNPAID PROFESSIONAL FIRE responded with mutual aid assistance from Cottonwood UNPAID PROFESSIONAL FIRE and Hodgesville UNPAID PROFESSIONAL FIRE along with Cottonwood Rescue And Dothan - Houston County Emergency Management.
Once on the scene the on scene commander, Assistant Fire Chief Scott Dixon reported food in stove, house full of smoke, and no active structure fire.
Assistant Chief Dixon downgraded Cottowood Fire to non emergency and cancelled Hodgesville Fire.
