HOUSTON - HENRY - DALE and COFFEE COUNTY AL: The National Weather Service has issued a TORNADO WATCH for Houston, Henry, Dale and Coffee County Alabama.
This TORNADO WATCH is effective from 11:20 AM until 6 PM unless cancelled or extended by the National Weather Service.
Dothan-Houston County Emergency Management Director Chris Judah said this is a "watch", NOT a warning.
Director Judah explained a watch means the conditions are favorable for a tornado but there has been no sightings or reports of a tornado.
Dothan-Houston County Emergency Management is monitoring the weather and in constant contact with the Tallahasee Division of National Weather Service.
Director Judah said stay tuned to Social Media, Facebook, Twitter and local media for updates.
