6:50 PM... Driver Runs from Troopers on East Saunders

HOUSTON COUNTY: Tonight State Troopers attempted to stop a vehicle in the 1100 Block of East Saunders Road. The driver took off and drove at a high rate of speed to the back of Coggins Trailer Park and then Bailed out on foot.
The driver left the female passenger in the car and troopers held her at the scene. When Deputies arrived they put a K-9 on the ground and tracked the suspect but lost the track in a patch of thick woods.
The female passenger ended up going to jail on a failure to appear for court warrant. The driver was never found but troopers do have a name so it only a matter of time.
