HOUSTON COUNTY:   7:06 PM.  HOUSTON COUNTY SHERIFF 911 dispatched multiple UNPAID PROFESSIONAL FIRE DEPARTMENTS to Highway 231 South near the Alabama - Florida line to a Reported structure fire. Reports to the 911 center were flames visible.


Houston County Sheriff 911 rolled Madrid Volunteer Fire, Southern Junction Volunteer Fire, Hodgesville Volunteer Fire, Cottonwood Rescue, and Dothan - Houston County Emergency Management.


The first emergency unit on the scene reported it was not a structure Fire but an outdoor fire and it was endangering the residence. The unit reported one fire agency could handle and all other units could be cancelled.
