HODGESVILLE: 7:12 AM. Houston County Sheriff 911 dispatched UNPAID PROFESSIONAL FIREMAN from Hodgesville, Rehobeth, Lovetown and Cottonwood to a structure fire.
The Fire location was on Hooper Cherry Road.
When fireman arrived heavy smoke and flames were visible.
The home was not occupied. The resident got married and had been in the process of moving out.
Wiregrass Electric responded to cut the power.
Houston County Sheriff Major Bill Rafferty and Criminal Investigator Michelle Brunson were on the scene. Dothan - Houston County Emergency Management was on the scene.
Pilcher Ambulance was on the scene for the safety of the fireman. Cottonwood Rescue responded to Lovetown and brought a Lovetown Fire Engine to meet the Lovetown Chief on the scene.
