DOTHAN: 08:30 AM. DOTHAN 911 dispatched Dothan Police - Dothan Fire and a ambulance to a three car motor vehicle accident on South Park Avenue and Ross Clark Circle.
When Dothan Fire and Dothan Police arrived passerby motorists were on top of a vehicle that was overturned. Dothan Fire were quick to get people off the car and it stabilized before overturning and causing further injuries to others or the one in the car.
Dothan Fire Engine 2 ( Lakewood ) was the primary fire engine. That engine company and others that responded did an excellent job in stabilizing the vehicle quickly and removing the patient from the vehicles.
While dispatched as serious critical injuries after medical examination by Dothan Fire the injuries were not life threatening.
Dothan Fire had one patient transported to a local hospital to be treated for injuries. Extreme caution was also exercised becuase of the patients age.
Dothan Fire did a excellant job in getting the accident injuries under control and vehicles stabilized to prevent danger.
Dothan Police were on the scene quick. Traffic was under control quick. And Dothan Fire and Dothan Police did an outstanding job.
Dothan Fire Captain Kyle Hovey is Acting Dothan Fire Batallion Chief and was on the scene. Dothan Police Lt. Pepper Mock is the Patrol Shift Commander on duty and was on the scene.
Dothan Police are in charge of the investigation of the accident.
KNIGHT’S WRECKER was in charge of vehicle removal.
