8:46 AM. Dale County Sheriff Investigating Gunshot Death - Believed Self Inflicted

DALE COUNTY:    At about 8:46 AM this morning Ozark - Dale County 911 dispatched Sheriff-Fire-EMS to the 8000 block of County Road 33 in Skipperville. 


Reports were a male subject was laying in the ditch.


On arrival of emergency units it was determined a male subject was laying in the ditch, deceased, from a gunshot wound. UNCONFIRMED with authorities at this time but preliminary information does not indicate foul play.


Dale County Coroner Woodie Hilboldt is on the scene along with Dale County Sheriff Wally Olson and Dale County Sheriff Chief Deputy Mason Bynum.


The death is under investigation.
