8:55 AM... Structure Fire Next to Willie’s Place

DOTHAN: Multiple Dothan Fire units responded to a report of a structure fire at 728 South Oates. The first unit on scene advised flames visible. Battalion Chief Ash has command. Chief Ash advised it was a smoker on fire not Willie’s Place. Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire.
Dothan Police responded along with an ambulance. All other responding units were canceled.
