9:00 PM.. Suspect Almost Runs Over Officer

DOTHAN: At 9:00 PM... A Dothan Police Officer called out for help on the radio. The officer had stopped a 95 model Blue Ford Ranger at North Oates and North Lena, when the suspect driver took off almost running the officer over. Other officers responded to assist the officer and a BOLO was issued for the suspect vehicle.


The address for the tag came back to a South Appletree Street address. Some officers went towards the address and one of the officers spotted the vehicle pulling into the yard. The officer is okay and the suspect is getting a free ride down town.
