9:43 PM.... Structure Fire on West Powell Street

DOTHAN: Multiple Dothan Fire units responded to a report of a structure fire near West Powell and North Herring. Engine 1 advised flames could be seen from Main and Edgewood. The first unit on scene advised heavy smoke and flames visible. Battalion Chief Gaster has command.
Firefighters were able to quickly knock down the fire and keep it from spreading.
Dothan Police responded along with an ambulance. The road the fire is located on is closed due to emergency equipment and supply line blocking the road.
