HOUSTON COUNTY:    There are a lot of people that we need to say THANK YOU to for making the wedding of Emily and Josh come together.

And I will not remember them all. But to each of you I owe, we owe and great debt of gratitude.

First I want to thank Bill and Seth Goree. These two guys worked Friday to cook 12 boston butts especially for the wedding. As you know from the annual Sara Goree Child Advocacy Center Boston Butt Sale, these two guys know how to cook. And from the bottom of my heart I want to thank them for their work for making this special with the delicious food they cooked.

Next I want to thank my sister Sandra Walden. She baked the Bride's wedding cake. It was decorated out of this world and was delicious. She worked hard and made it all come toget her.

Next I wish to thank my Adminstrative Assistant, Robin Altman. She helped Emily and I with the detail list making sure each item was accomplished and the funds were set aside to pay for these items. Thanks Robin for keeping me on track.

Also to my staff at the office. They were running errands and helping me this week as things had to be done.

Thanks to the Fails for their work and help in arrangements and design for all the weeding festivities. Also to Jason and Stephanie McCorkel for all they did. I am proud our daughter is a part of such a loving and caring family.

Also to Marsha Stokes for her hard work in making things come off a success.

When events such as these happen it takes a team. Many persons I have forgotten to mention and do not know their names helped and made it reality.

Tonight the songs by Dakota and Mary Smith, great voices together.

Our sons John Curtis and Spencer worked on different things, and I thank them for their willingness to make their sisters wedding a beautiful success.

To "Do It Billy" ( Billy Pfalzgraff ) Tri - State Off Roads. He provided some of the music for dancing.

To Matt and Linda Boster for the video. Matt worked to set up the cameras around the wedding to capture the moments on video.

To the friends and relatives of the Fails who traveled to Dothan as a wedding gift to handle the photography.

And the wedding planner. A great job.

It was also indeed my pleasure to be around the bridesmaids and groomsman. They made it very enjoyable.

THANK YOU.

Emily's great grandmother, Lula Hardy Outlaw from Cottonwood. She now lives in Foley and is Carolyn Coskrey's mother. Can you believe she is 99 years young?
