Ad valorem taxes are being collected and will be delinquent after December 31, 2018, this includes taxes on business personal property.  The signed business personal property rendition also needs to be returned by December 31, 2018.  You may also file your business rendition online at www.houstoncounty.org under online payments, click the link OPPAL.  Both may be postmarked by December 31, 2018 to avoid a late fee.

You can pay ad valorem tax and manufactured home renewal by mail or in our office at 462 N. Oates St. fifth floor or online at www.houstoncounty.org under online payments.

Homeowner’s who are age 65 and older are reminded to return their application for homestead exemption by December 21, 2018 to insure they receive the exemption they qualify for in the 2019 tax year.
