Barbour Creek Shooting Academy is offering an Advanced Firearms Course that will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2017, from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. {class-size is limited so register immediately.}


This is the same course currently offered to corporate and personal security personnel who operate daily under real-world conditions. There will be one NRA Certified Instructor per-shooter to ensure a maximum skill level is achieved and all safety procedures are followed.


This training course has been designed for shooters who have a basic familiarity of firearms and who want to improve personal survival, shooting and reloading skills. This course is set up to teach shooters:


·         how to move and shoot with accuracy,


·         how to shoot from various cover and concealment positions,


·         how to shoot from different angles,


·         how to be accurate from greater distances,


·         how to speed load under pressure,


·         Where and how to carry extra mags and ammo,


·         Different concealment carry locations,


·         active shooter scenarios and what you should do,


·         weak-hand shooting and reloading techniques,


·         one on one personal instruction and much more


Barbour Creek NRA Certified Instructors have trained more than 9,000 civilians and over 20,000 law enforcement and military personnel throughout the world.


The cost for this advanced course is only $75.00 per-person or $130.00 per-couple (*this is a one-time discounted price to help celebrate Barbour Creek’s upcoming Grand Opening and promote the facility. Cost per-person after May 6th is $150.00 per-person.) Lunch is included in the price.


Participants will need to wear loose, comfortable clothing and shoes and be prepared for an educational and busy day on the range.  


Shooters will need to bring their personal protection weapon{S} of choice and a minimum of 200 rounds of ammunition. All other material and safety equipment is provided. Ammunition is available for purchase at a discounted price for participants.


{A variety of weapons will be available for each participant to test and evaluate for their personal protection needs.}
