Aircraft Accident In Tullahoma Tennessee Involves A Dale County Resident And Reserve Deputy

TULLAHOMA TN: Two people were injured after a helicopter crashed in Tullahoma on Thursday.
According to the FAA, a Sikorsky HH60 helicopter crashed in a field five miles south of Tullahoma just after 3 p.m. near the Coffee County/Moore County borders on private land.
One pilot was flown to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for treatment. The other pilot was taken to a local hospital for treatment. The conditions of the pilots are not known.
Tullahoma Police said the Coffee County Communications Center received a call at 3:16 p.m. from one of the two pilots of the civilian-owned helicopter.
THIS HELICOPTER IS NOT ASSOCIATED WITH DALE COUNTY SHERIFF DEPARTMENT
One of the injured in the Tullahoma aircraft accident is a part time pilot with Dale County Sheriff Department. He has been injured and at a hospital, Vandy we think, and has been talking.
The pilot is identified as Jack Cook. He is a part time pilot for a corporation and was flying the corporation aircraft.
Our prayers are with Mr. Cook and pray for a speedy recovery.
NOTE: Rumors were circulating it was a Dale County Sheriff aircraft. All of Dale County Sheriff aircrafts are accounted for and none have been involved in any aircraft accident
