Alabama Highway 134 in Headland Closed for Railroad Crossing Repairs

HEADLAND, Ala. – Beginning Thursday, February 8, the Alabama Department of Transportation will close Alabama Highway 134, west of Henry County 39, to make repairs to the railroad crossing.
While repairs are being made traffic will be detoured.
East bound traffic for Alabama Highway 134 will turn right on Henry County 1, left on Westgate in Dothan, left at U.S. Highway 431 and continue to Alabama Highway 134.
Westbound traffic for Alabama Highway 134 will turn left on Henry County 39 (Suggs Road), right on Headland Avenue, right on Westgate, right on Harrison Road and continue to Alabama Highway 134.
The road is expected to be reopened by Friday morning. Motorists are advised to use caution when traveling through a construction zone and to plan accordingly for delays.
