HENRY COUNTY:     ****Alert**** Henry County Sheriff Will Maddox wants to make you aware:


The Henry County Sheriffs Office has received numerous calls concerning a scam. A subject has been claiming to be an officer with the Sheriffs Office and telling citizens that they had warrants and to avoid going to jail subjects can pay money over the phone to avoid being arrested. The Henry County Sheriffs Office does not accept money from any suspects involved in any types of cases. All fines and court cost are paid directly to the Clerks Office. If you receive any of these calls please notify your local authority. The number to the Office is 334-585-3131.  Also if you have any information involving this incident please contact us immediately.
