Alford Man Arrested after Telling Deputy he had Marijuana

On October 30, 2018 Deputies responded to a residence located in Alford, Florida in reference to a call for assistance.
Upon arrival, Deputies made contact with a subject identified as Kenneth Shores who stated he needed assistance getting to another location. During the encounter, while speaking with Shores he stated he had smoked a little pot this morning. The Deputy asked Shores if he had anymore marijuana to which he stated "yes" and even stated he would show it to the Deputies.
Shores retrieved a clear plastic bag, sandwich style, containing a green leafy substance suspected to be Marijuana along with a glass pipe, typically used for ingestion of illicit drugs, inside the bag.
The defendant, Kenneth Shores, was placed under arrest and transported to the Jackson County Correctional Facility to await first appearance on his charges.

Kenneth Marshall Shored, 68 years of age, Resident of Alford, Florida
Charges:
Possession of Marijuana less than 20 grams
Possession of Paraphernalia
