DOTHAN - HOUSTON COUNTY: It hits without warning. All types of emergencies all over Dothan and Houston County within seconds of each other.
The City of Dothan - Houston County Communications Centers, under the specific command of Dothan Police Chief Steve Parrish and Houston County Sheriff Donald Valenza did an outstanding job.
The calls represented below do not include the law enforcements calls, thefts, suspicious vehicles and persons, in between the calls listed below.
Paid and volunteer Fire and EMS, Law Enforcement From Dothan Police and Houston County Sheriff were rolling and actively involved in these calls.
Dothan Fire was stretched thin quick. But the public would have never known.
I can not say more about the 911 staff. They were hit hard and quick with multiple calls on all different type of calls. They never missed a beat And handled the volume of emergencies quickly and efficiently.
