DOTHAN - HOUSTON COUNTY:    Several calls today for Police - Sheriff - Fire and EMS.


Someone text me this afternoon and asked where all of the sirens were going and fire trucks today. My number is 334-790-1729. ALways ask - always keep me informed of what you see and WHO you see where. Never know when it matters...


TODAY ALL OF THE SIRENS


1:35 AM.  Structure fire on Grove Street in Cottonwood. Responding UNPAID PROFESSIONAL FIRE from Cottonwood, Lovetown, and Hodgesville, Pilcher Ambulance because Cottonwood Rescue already on a medical call. Later Cottonwood Rescue relieved Pilcher Ambulance. Dothan - Houston County Emergency Management, Houston County Sheriff Department, Cottonwood Police Department, American Red Cross. Cottonwood Mayor Ken Hamilton was on the scene of the fire assisting.


3:53 AM.  Burglary In Progress, American Inn on East Main Street. Subject breaking into a room. When units arrived changed to suspicious circumstances.


5:53 AM.  Person laying behind a business 4454 Montgomery Highway, Murphy Oil. Do not know outcome but know nothing serious.


7:29 AM.  Assault 4375 County Road 203, Magnolia Court.


8:03 AM. Fire Alarm 400 Burt Drive, audible alarm. No fire.


10:32 AM.  Fire Alarm 101 Hickory Nut Circle, phone in alarm, kitchen smoke detector. No fire.


10:41 AM.  Three vehicle accident with injuries at Flynn Road and Redmond Road. One of the vehicles Involved a Dothan Police Crusier.


11:20 AM. 700 block of Hedstrom Drive, fire alarm. No fire.


11:27 AM.  2700 block of Evans Drive, fire alarm. No fire.


11:55 AM.  Fred Miller Road in Ashford, subject pulled a gun on neighbor.


12:12 PM.  Free For All Fight Webb Road and North Range.


2:26 PM.    Fire Alarm 600 Girard Avenue, Girard Middle School, no fire.


3:46 PM.  Motor vehicle accident with injuries, 3500 block of Ross Clark Circle.


3:54 PM.  Person laying down in church parking lot, 300 South Lena Street.


3:55 PM.  Assault In Progress, Walmart Northside, white male actively hitting white female, last seen on Montgomery Highway towards Westgate.


4:23 PM.  Person laying next to fence on Butler Road. 


4:24 PM.  Structure Fire, 506 Greentree Avenue, smoke from residence, possibly from stove. No structure fire.


4:30 PM  Motor vehicle accident Ross Clark Circle at Kent Drive.


5:47 PM   Person laying in church parking lot, Westgate Church of Christ.


7:01 PM  Theft in Progress, Walmart Northside.


7:18 PM   Motor vehicle accident with injuries, Ross Clark Circle and Hodgesville Road.


9:11 PM   Motor vehicle accident with serious critical injuries, downgraded, Cottonwood and Ross Clark Circle.


9:28 PM   Pedestrian struck by vehicle, West Main and Bracewell Avenue.


10:01 PM  Medical emergency Glenn Lawrence Road in Cowarts.
