ALABAMA:   As I read about the Florida school shootings, the incident in Headland with threats, the student expelled in Columbia because a firearm in his or her vehicle and threats made at Dothan High School I ponder the wisdom of the adult leadership across this state.

Walk into a Dothan Commission Meeting, only after going through a metal detector; walk into the Dothan Police Department and go through a metal detector - and every officer in the building has weapons; attempt to get into the Central Fire Station in Dothan Alabama - only after being buzzed in the door; attempt to go into the Houston County Courthouse - after being searched before going into the building...

Go into the Alabama Legislature - empty your pockets and metal detector wands being scanned over your body; and the guards on the legislative floors; go into the Alabama State Capital and attempt to get into the building, only after armed guards require you to empty your pockets and be searched and metal detectors scanned over your body; go to the Governor's Office and see the State Trooper guarding the door - and if the peasant is allowed in the body cavity searches; and the Governor's Mansion - watch the security if the Governor travels; attempt to visit the Alabama Attorney General's Office and the security you have to go through and the body cavity searches or when the Attorney General appears or when the Attorney General visits the peasants of this state; and the Alabama Supreme Court Building and the number of guards; and the United States Federal Court House where you almost have to give DNA samples to enter the building.

The above description is the money spent to protect the adults. Adults who have power and reign over the peasants of this state. You know the ones, that think they don't stink in the bathroom the same as everyone else.

But - the precious resources, our children, do not have the same protection. They are cast alone. People can enter schools and kill the precious resources. 

The children do not control the money and resources. The adults do. And the adults protect themselves and the hell with the children. Some idiot legislator wants to arm the teachers. Well sir...ya'll are not armed but have protection all in the buildings and surrounding yourselves. And you create absurd laws that are not practical.

I WOULD BE EMBARRASSED TO BE AN ADULT WITH ALL OF THIS PROTECTION FOR ADULTS WHEN THE CHILDREN ARE VULNERABLE. IT IS AN INSULT TO THE INTELLIGENCE OF THE PARENTS.

Adults, you are able to protect yourselves. And you should immediately cancel all of the security in every government building and for every government official, EVERY GOVERNMENT BUILDING AND EVERY GOVERNMENT OFFICIAL and for one time put the children first.
