Another Scam in Dothan

We have received several calls today about someone "spoofing" the City of Dothan phone number. This person is pretending to be an investigator for the Dothan Police Department. The caller is saying things such as "you did not show up for Grand Jury today" and " I need to speak to you about something". If you receive a call that you think is suspicious please call the Dothan Police Department at 334-615-3000 and confirm that the information is accurate. DO NOT give the caller any information before confirming you are speaking with an actual police officer.
