ASHFORD: Tonight the Mayor and City Council of the Ashford met to discuss the following; 

Changing the second meeting of this month due to it falling on a Holiday. 

Purchasing new trash cans for the new sidewalks. 

Voting to attend the convention and the Alabama Legislative Advocacy day

Presented information from Alabama Power to be at second meeting.

Discussion of a temporary position for assistant clerk for training of the new clerk.

Accepting the resignation of the current City Clerk to take affect in March. 

Endtroducing  and swearing of the new town clerk.

They also talked about the ACOM wanting to take over the medical clinic and building a classroom for training. Matt Parker
