Auburn man charged with possession of child pornography

AUBURN: Auburn resident Andrew Benjamin Cantley, 24, was arrested by Auburn police on Friday on a warrant charging him with possession of child pornography.
The arrest stems from an investigation into a report filed on March 26 in reference to inappropriate photographic images of a female under the age of 17, being disseminated and posted on an online social media site.
Cantley was developed as a suspect and subsequently arrested on unrelated charges on April 16. Electronic and data storage devices were recovered in his possession and examined; they contained explicit images of a known under-age female.
