BALDWIN COUNTY, AL (WALA) - The Baldwin County Sheriff's Office released the names of the two men killed in a plane crash near Foley Saturday.
The victims are identified as George Marshall of Gulf Shores and Bradley John Lafleur of Orange Beach. Investigators said Marshall was piloting the single-engine plane and Lafleur was a passenger when it crashed in a field near Craft Farms Road west of County Road 65.
Both Marshall and Lafleur were pronounced dead at the scene.
The Federal Aviation Administration identified the plane as an 8GCBC Scout. Witnesses told investigators that the plane was attempting to pick up an advertisement banner when it crashed.
