DOTHAN: Dothan Police received a call about someone walking off from the SAMC. A description was broadcasted and officers were responding to the area. One officer spotted the subject in the Mexican restaurant near to Dicki’s BBQ and went to make contact.
When the officer made contact the subject got jumpy and it was on. The officer called for help and it was broadcasted over the radio. Ashford Police Chief was eating lunch with his wife and saw the commotion and went to help. It took both officers to get the subject cuffed and under control.
