BOLO Issued for a Hit and Run

BAY COUNTY, FL - The Florida Highway Patrol is looking for a vehicle involved in a fatal hit-and-run over the weekend (Sept. 2). The vehicle is a blue 2013 /2014 Toyota Prius, and it will have heavy front-end damage.



Investigators says, the Toyota collided with a motorcycle near the intersection of US 98 and Gulf View Drive.


Both the driver and a passenger on the motorcycle were thrown from the bike.
After the initial crash, the passenger of the motorcycle was hit a second time by a Lexus.


Arkansas native, Rebecca Summar (23) was not wearing a helmet and pronounced dead at the scene.


The driver of the motorcycle Robert Smith (52) was transported to Bay Medical Hospital where he is listed in critical condition.
