HOUSTON COUNTY:   A Rehobeth Rebel has been selected to the Blue - Grey All American Super Combine.

Mr. Brady Herring, a upcoming senior at Rehobeth High School, has been selected to attend the Blue - Grey National Super Combine at Spec Martin Municipal Stadium in Deland Florida.

Brady Herring will enter his senior season this Fall after quarterbacking his Rehobeth High School Team as a sophomore and a junior.

Last season Brady Herring completed 61% of his passes, totaling 1,358 yards. Herring is a true student - athlete.

And you know what? Herring was quarterback and maintained a 4.0 grade point average.

Brady Herring will join college football prospects from 32 other states showcasing his skills during the two day combine. Last year, almost 70% of those participating in the super combines signed college football scholarships.

"It's an honor to be selected and participate in this combine", Herring said. "My coaches at Rehobeth have helped me get my foot in the door for this. Of course, my teammates are the reason I have any kind of recognition or success. If we have the kind of season we are capable of having, all of us will enjoy recognition and success in the months to come."

In the Blue - Grey Super Combine, Herring will be competing with elite prospects from 32 states. The events will be held at the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton Ohio, AT&T Stadium home of the Dallas Cowboys, Washington Redskins Training Center in Richmond Virginia, Spec Martin Municipal Stadium in Deland Florida and Foothills Arena In Denver Colorado home of the Blue - Grey National Training Center. All five super combines will be streamed nationally by the Impact Football Network ( IFN ).

Last year the Blue - Grey Combine had 630 prospects that competed at the Super Combines and they are proud to say that 425 ended up signing a college football scholarship in their senior year. This two day event featuring All American Candidates, will also serve as a pool to select the squads to compete in one of the three Blue - Grey All American Bowls. These nationally televised games on Impact Football Network and ESPN 3 will be played at AT&T Stadium home of the Dallas Cowboys, EverBank Field Home of the Jacksonville Jaguars and Raymond James stadium, home of the Tampa Buccaneers. Super Combines prosecutes will compromise 75% of each team.

Brady Herring has attended one school system his entire life...Rehobeth Elementary, Rehobeth Middle School and Rehobeth High School. Brady has attended one church all of his life, Memphis Baptist Church. Brady Herring has had only two pastors in his life, Rev. Ernest O'Neal and Rev. Jim Tate.

More than that, Brady Herring has been blessed with a loving home and parents, Ricky and Andrea Herring. A home where GOD was first, love was evident with discipline. A brother and sister who love him and two sets of grandparents that adore him.

Congratulations to all in the school system, the football coaches, church leaders, fellow students and players, and most of all his parents who have helped this young man achieve great goals.

Most of all, CONGRATULATIONS to Brady Herring for being the young man you are, with the values you hold, and the determination to achieve both on the field and in the classroom.
