FOLEY, Ala (WKRG) - UPDATE: 11:51 Foley police now confirm the victim is indeed Akil Figures. They tell News 5 that he gave officers false information, using his brother's name. According to a press release:


" We are working diligently to get to the bottom of this, but is difficult when the victim and some witnesses are not being forthcoming with information.  This includes the fact that the gunshot victim...who gave investigation officers false information about his identity.  As stated we will continue to investigate and will release more information to the media when ready but not until we get to that point.  We want to be able to give you accurate information as to what really happened and the parties involved. "
