Burglary Call Lands One in Jail in Enteprise

On February 8, 2019, at 7:00 AM, the Enterprise Police Department responded to a burglary call in the 100 Block of Pledger Street Enterprise, AL. Responding Officers made contact with the victim who related that a male suspect made entry into her residence through a window.
The victim was physically assaulted by the suspect and sustained injuries during this offense. The suspect stole the victim’s car keys and cell phone then fled the residence. Officers on scene observed an individual a few houses down matching the suspects description.
After a brief foot pursuit, the suspect was apprehended and placed under arrest. The suspect was identified as Justin Ladonn Edwards, age 34, of Enterprise, AL.
Edwards was arrested and charged with Burglary 1st, Attempting to Elude, and a Failure to Appear warrant from Houston County. Edwards was transported to the Coffee County Jail after arrest.
