COVINGTON CO., AL (WSFA) -
A homicide investigation is underway in Covington County after a burned body was discovered by deputies Wednesday.
According to the 22nd Judicial Circuit Drug Task Force, around 3:45 a.m. deputies were called to a report of a suspicious vehicle on Brooklyn Road. When deputies arrived, they found a burned vehicle that was still smoking at a residence.
